As first time home buyers, we really didn't know much beyond the basics.   Even the prospect of choosing a realtor seemed daunting until a friend recommended Matthew.  After our first meeting, we immediately felt at ease.  He spent a lot of time going over the process, answering our questions so that we were ready for the journey ahead of us.

The one thing that immediately stood out is that I didn't feel any pressure to jump in with an offer on the first property we viewed. We felt we could go see as many places as it would take. At no point did Matthew suggest "we really should" put in an offer here or we would miss out. He didn't want us to check off just some of our boxes, he wanted to check off as many as possible. We never felt like he was trying to reach some monthly sales quota or be #1 amongst his coworkers, this wasn't a competition and we weren't just one of his statistics. Matthew made putting in an offer feel easy, walking through everything step of the process. He negotiated our first home purchase down below listing price and even further after the home inspection.
